OK ... so it's more like James Scott and I traveling in a tin can with wings at high-speeds to San Francisco.
Our destination is the WidgetsLive converence, a very cool event being put on by Niall Kennedy and Om Malik. For one day, this event will get web-widget guys, mobile-widget guys and desktop-widget guys all in one room. The event is being held on Monday Nov 6th, the day before the Web2Con show.
We're excited about this event because it aligns very well with us talking about KlipFolio 4.0 (and some other goodies we've got up our sleeves). We've been asked to participate in the lightning round to showcase KlipFolio. James and I will get a post up as soon as we can after the show (perhaps even a video if we can find someone to capture the moment).
So, if you're in San Francisco, or coming into town for the event, let us know. James and I would be thrilled to meet up with you. Drop us a line.
Time for another sneak peek at KlipFolio 4.0! This week we've got system monitors for you. With 4.0 you'll be able to monitor your CPU and memory usage as well as the strength of the WiFi signal of the access point you're connected to.
One of the key things here is that Klips will no longer have to refresh to do stuff. It's a new timer event. It opens up the door to lots of new Klip presentation capabilities.
There's lots more 4.0 on the way. Stay tuned!

OK folks, we need your votes. CNET is asking users what their favourite tiny app is. They are looking for programs that are less than 1MB, quick to install and provide great value---sounds like KlipFolio to me!
So help us out... we need you to tell them about KlipFolio. Click on 'Submit your Post' at the bottom of the page (you need to register with CNET if you have not already).
Let's get voting!
KlipFolio 4.0 development has been under way for weeks now. We thought it was time to let you all in on some of what's coming. It's going to be a great release!
Our 4.0 focus is on what people have been asking for. Richer data in Klips. Easier Klip movement and arranging. More tools for developers. Massively improved Klip visibilty. System monitoring. And of course we've added some snazzy eye-candy.
Here's a screenshot of an internal build of KlipFolio:
There's so much more to it than you see here. We'll keep posting more previews over the coming weeks as we get closer to the first public release.
This will be the one.
