Lufthansa selects Klipfolio; helpdesk alerts get noticed
Help Desk agents at Lufthansa wanted an effective means of communicating instantly with the airline's 35,000 employees or subsets of the workforce whether it be by role, geography, seniority or a different criteria. Previous attempts to use a Novel system to broadcast emails suffered from a lack of filtering and were often ineffective because they were easy for staff to miss. Furthermore, the Help Desk team needed an alternate communications channel in case the corporate email system was offline. Working with Klipfolio, Lufthansa's Help Desk team developed its own Klipfolio Dashboard for Help Desk into a flexible, effective communication channel that also lets the Help Desk publish persistent alerts to targeted desktops. Passive alerts like those that announce an email message may or may not be seen. Lufthansa's persistent Klifpolio Dashboard alerting system requires users to click alerts before they can be closed to indicate the alert has been perceived.
