World TIme Monitor

Posted by Jolly181 on (2006-05-10)
Hi There..

Love the Klip.. Just wondered if it would be/might be possible to add the ability to sort the cities by their time zone(s) i.e. New York at the top then Sydney, Australia then Wellington NZ, instead of just alphabetically.?? Also, possibly BOLD your current time so...??

Regards

Julius

BST +1 areas show PM instead of AM

Posted by rbeggi on (2006-09-21)
I checked the time in the morning from time zone BST (GMT +1) at 11.40 am. When adding cities from the next time zone (BST +1), they show as 12.40 pm...
The am/pm tag is incorrect!

Nice klip.

1. Any chance we can have the times in 24 hour format?

"Canberra 10:56 (10:56pm)"

seems to be a waste of space and repeated information when:

"Canberra 22:56"

says the same thing.

2. Any chance of a digital or analog display of the information?

Excellent.

How to refresh every minute

Posted by test_for_it2 on (2007-04-04)
Hello,

I encountered the same problem with TTHC101, and thought perhaps something this good should have some workaround of some sort...

Note: You might have to delete your old world time monitor from your set. You will update your klip file then set your settings anew. See below:

1. open up your klips folder and find the .klip file for your world time monitor.

2. edit the .klip file using any editor like notepad.

3. find the refresh tag and set it to 1 (in minutes).

This should update the klip every minute. I think klipfolio updates every 2 hours by default, hence the original settings is at 120.

4. Save the file.

5. Double click your saved file, then set your settings anew.

hope this helps!

Cutomize your own cities

Posted by bingbangbong on (2007-05-11)
I was using a widget on Yahoo prior to being converted to Klipfolio and it you could enter your own city etc and not have to pick from a list. I only say this because my wife is Cambodian and the given list does not have an option for Phnom Pehn and now she's bugging me to put Yahoo widgets back on my PC and I want to stick with this!!! Help
