Icon size

Posted by meto on (2007-03-22)
Hi Jeremy,

nice one. But it really eats up a lot of space. (I got 8 local drives plus some network shares) I changed the style and set height of icon and graph to 1. Would be cool if this could be configured in the klip setup.

Regards,

meto

Hi meto,

You can configure it using KlipFolio's Klip context menu. Try right-clicking on the Klip's title bar, go to Display Settings, then click "Allow Multi-Line Items" (clicking it will remove the check mark beside it). This will force everything in the Klip to have a height of 1.

Hi Jeremy,

thanks for the info. Didn't know about that.

I noticed a little bug in this Klip. I only monitor my HDs. The CD/DVD-Drives are disabled in the Klip setup. But sometimes (I think it happens if I insert/eject a disc, but not allways) these drives show up in the Klip. They are still disabled in the Klip setup. If I check+uncheck the boxes of the drives they disapear again. I tried to reproduce it, but I can't. But it happened now for the second time. No big thing. Just wantet to let you know. :-)

Now I am able to reproduce it. It occurs if I add a new device.

I use the Novell Netdrive Client to include remote FTP directorys to my local filesystem.

If I connect to a FTP server the directory will be added as a new device in the explorer.

Now the Klip is displaying my DVD/CD drives. If I disconnect from FTP the Klip will show the devices I set in prefs.

Have not tested this, but I guess this will happen if you plug in a USB stick as well.

A great Klip!!!

EDIT: this is the same problem meto has :)

Great klip. One problem though. I like to view my C drive only. When I connect a USB drive it immediately appears in the Klip. When I disconnect the USB drive it disappears but also borks the Klip display so the C drive doesn't show. I have to resize the Klip to fix it.

I have the Klip two lines high and just wide enough to display the images, drive name and usage percentage.

Thanks

Changes Drives Automaticly?

Hi!

Great software, but, however, I have select it to show my C: F:, and J:,

but sometimes it changes them, and now it shows E:, H:, and J:

but according to the config it should not do that.. (E and H are DVD Rom's)

A & B Drives

Posted by THUNDER_CHILD on (2008-05-13)
I have 2 of my drives set as A: and B: however your disk monitor does not acquire them, i realize that by default a and b are reserved for diskettes though nowadays not to many people still use them, it would be nice if they could be picked up.
