Happy Dashboarding

Release Roundup for April 2014 - What's new with Klipfolio Dashboard

Klipfolio - latest features - bitly

This latest release has lots of great improvements to increase the power of your dashboard (take a look at the Changelog). Some updates are ‘under the hood’ and some are cool new features that you can try out for yourself. You can influence product development by making your voice heard.

Upload more data from Google Drive

You can now use any file on your Google Drive account in Klipfolio, just like Box or Dropbox. For example, if you are working on an Excel spreadsheet in your Drive account and use that as a data source in Klipfolio, any time that file is edited, those changes will be reflected in Klipfolio. This is huge.

Use Bitly as a data source

This release added support for Bitly using OAuth. Bitly is more than just a URL shortener – it keeps track of how many times your link is clicked. As a result, it is an extremely useful data source to add to your social media dashboard because it can be combined with your Google Analytics and social media data sources. We've provided documentation on this data source, but here's a quick overview of how to integrate with Bitly using their API console.

Bubble Charts

Bubble charts are useful because you can see relationships and correlations between multiple data points. They can be used for social and demographic data (as you can see in our example), or for delving into financial, economic and scientific relationships.
