Klipfolio appoints new CFO Gord Wyse to fuel next phase of growth
Gord brings over thirty years of experience in Global Corporate Finance and Strategic Business Planning in the high-tech industry. Prior to joining Klipfolio, Gord held various finance positions spanning start-up and mature private companies including Chipworks, Overlay TV, OLAP@Work, Corsa Technology, and Tropic Networks, as well as global internationals such as Cognos.
During his tenure at Chipworks, Gord led the successful sale of the company to its largest worldwide competitor TechInsights. While at Tropic, Gord helped raised over $160M USD in debt and equity financing while shepherding the company’s reporting, planning, systems, and governance growth from an early stage. At BI vendor OLAP@Work, Gord led the successful sale of the company to Business Objects. While in several senior international positions at Cognos, Gord’s responsibilities included implementing a worldwide application of Oracle Financials, as well as spearheading financial operations for Northern Europe and Asia Pacific.

In his role of CFO at Klipfolio, Gord will utilize his 30 years of experience and diverse expertise to oversee all Financial, HR, Legal, IT, Business Systems and administrative activities.
Gord holds a bachelor of commerce degree from University of Ottawa and earned his CA designation while auditing for Ernst & Young in 1985. Gord is a proud Ottawa native who spends his free time supporting the local community, kayaking, skiing, and working on the ongoing renovations of his 100+ year old house.
