Klipfolio Proves Web-Based Dashboards and Real-Time Data Is Recipe for Success
Ottawa, Canada -- July 10, 2013: Klipfolio Inc today announced that the first-half of 2013 marked the single most successful period for the company throughout its 12 year history. This news signals Klipfolio's emergence as a key player in the real-time dashboard space, with customers rallying around the Canadian company's web-based platform. In fact, the numbers recorded in the first 6 months of 2013 outpace any 12 month period in the company's decade-plus history.
Allan Wille, CEO of Klipfolio, attributes this growth to a change in the market: "From big data to real-time data, businesses recognize that in order to be a leader they need to have access to meaningful information about their performance. Web-based dashboards, like Klipfolio, offer a cost-efficient way to consolidate and share these insights, without onerous IT investments."
Klipfolio's heritage dates back to 2001 when the company began to leverage emergent web technologies like RSS and XML to create real-time dashboards. While these early dashboards were designed for consumers, Klipfolio shifted its focus to enterprises as the web-based data landscape evolved, in part owing to the popularity of services like Salesforce and Google Analytics. In 2011, Klipfolio released its web-based dashboard application. Since the start of 2013, Klipfolio deployments have grown 3-fold and Klipfolio has now expanded its partner network to have representation around the globe.
