Marketing Manager

The marketing manager will play a central role in all lead generation efforts. It's important that candidates have a go-get-it attitude, are confident communicators and relationship builders. The ideal candidate will have the ability to operate, analyze and make recommendations and decisions at both a tactical and strategic.

Responsibilities include:

- working with sales, product teams, writers and creative to drive customer awareness, and interest, acquisition and retention
- working with management to plan and evaluate all lead-generation, SEO, PPC, email, press and community relation activities
- assisting with corporate and product brand and positioning
- writing or assisting the development of marketing copy

Quality Assurance Specialist

Ideal candidate will be passionate about user experience and product quality and look forward to contributing to the development of Klipfolio products. Candidate will be required to log defects in the defect-tracking database, providing detailed information on each defect in the process of communicating the issue to development for resolution. Candidate will write, maintain, and review test plans and test cases to verify proper testing of the application before it goes to a customer. Candidate need not have a formal Computer Science background, but have working knowledge of CSS, XML and JavaScript.

Responsibilities include:

- participating in writing and maintaining software test plans and scripts
- analyzing software defects and assisting development by accurately capturing defect scenarios
- working with management to maintain and prioritize the software defects database

Junior Graphic Designer

Klipfolio is looking for a junior graphic designer for our downtown Ottawa, Canada office. No significant work experience is necessary so long as your portfolio shows depth and skill and you're keen to learn. The position is part time (though we expect to make it full time in 2010).

Candidates must demonstrate an understanding of the image production process for web sites or related screen media.

Candidates must have excellent ability with Photoshop and Illustrator in a PC or Mac environment. Flash, animation and video skills are a huge bonus. Web, user interface design, and print experience are nice-to-have.

Candidates must be organized, able to work efficiently, and comfortable collaborating with software developers and user interface designers in a fast-paced, small business environment.

Responsibilities include:

Application Integration Engineer

Strengths		C/C++, IP based protocols, XML, HTML, ASP, SOAP, SQL, Unix
Requirements		Experience integrating third-party products with enterprise applications, such as Cognos, Business Objects, Oracle, Microsoft, SalesForce.com, NetSuite, SugarCRM, and other ERP, SFA, CRM or BI applications.

It is important that the candidate has completed a number of successful enterprise integration projects, either as part of a professional services team or as an independent contractor. Candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and enjoy working closely with customers.

Responsibilities include:

- working with customers to integrate Klipfolio Dashboard with their enterprise applications
- authoring custom Klips (JavaScript), or extending Klipfolio Dashboard's data connectivity engine (C/C++)
- developing products (client and server tools, libraries, and documentation) to assist customers in the deployment and integration of Klipfolio Dashboard within their environment
- providing input to product management on the evolution of Klipfolio Dashboard within the enterprise
- creating reference implementations of enterprise applications
