The marketing manager will play a central role in all lead generation and lead
conversion efforts. It's important that candidates have a go-get-it attitude,
are confident communicators and relationship builders. The ideal candidate
will have the ability to operate, analyze and make recommendations and decisions
at both a tactical and a strategic level.
Responsibilities include:
- working with sales, product teams, writers and creative to drive customer
awareness, interest, acquisition and retention
- working with management to plan and evaluate all lead-generation, lead-conversion,
SEO, PPC, email, press and customer relation activities
- assisting with corporate and product brand and positioning
- writing or assisting the development of marketing copy, editorial, whitepapers,
press releases and blog posts
- expanding marketing channels

Ideal candidate will be passionate about user experience and product quality

Candidate will be required to log defects in the defect-tracking
database, providing detailed information on each defect in the process of
communicating the issue to development for resolution. Candidate will write,
maintain, and review test plans and test cases to verify proper testing of
the application before it goes to a customer. Candidate need not have a formal
Computer Science background, but have working knowledge of CSS, XML and JavaScript.
Responsibilities include:
- participating in writing and maintaining software test plans and scripts
- analyzing software defects and assisting development by accurately capturing
defect scenarios
- working with management to maintain and prioritize the software defects database
