How to connect FTP/SFTP to Klipfolio
Klipfolio supports FTP and SFTP as a direct data source. Once connected, any file update on your server flows through to your Klips automatically.
Supported file formats: XML, RSS, CSV, Excel, and JSON
- Click + beside Data Sources in the left navigation sidebar. If you don't see this option, go to Account Name > Data Sources > Create a New Data Source at the bottom of the sidebar.
- On the Where is your data? page, select FTP & SFTP.
- Enter your Host, Port (default: 21), Username, Password, and Start Path.
- Select the correct Protocol from the dropdown. Enable passive mode if your server requires it, then click Connect.
- In the Pick a file window, select your file and click Get File. Verify the content, name your data source, set the Auto-Refresh rate, and click Save.
Your data source is now live in your data source library and ready to power custom Klips.
