How to connect Kissmetrics to Klipfolio
Connecting Kissmetrics requires your username and password. The steps below cover both pre-built and custom data source options.
Pre-built data source (recommended)
- Go to the Service Connectors page in Klipfolio and select Kissmetrics from the list.
- Choose a pre-built data source from the left panel on the Choose a pre-built or custom connection page.
- Enter your Kissmetrics Username and Password. Where applicable, select a Product from the drop-down list.
- Click Get data. Optionally, click Switch to Custom settings to modify the query before proceeding.
- Confirm the data looks correct. Optionally, check Model your data to shape it before use.
- Click Continue, then name your data source, set a refresh schedule, and optionally share it.
- Click Save.
Custom data source
- Go to the Service Connectors page and select Kissmetrics.
- Click Create a custom Kissmetrics data source.
- Edit the Query URL to return the data you need. Refer to the Kissmetrics API documentation for available endpoints and parameters.
- Expand Authentication and select Basic HTTP Authentication.
- Enter your Kissmetrics Username and Password.
- Click Get data, confirm the results, and optionally check Model your data.
- Click Continue, name your data source, set a refresh schedule, and optionally share it.
- Click Save.
