How to connect Quid to Klipfolio
Before you build your first Klip, you'll need your Quid API Token and Topic ID. Here's how to find them.
To find your API Token:
- Log in to Quid.
- Click your username in the top right corner and select Settings.
- Click the API Tokens tab.
- If you don't have a token yet, enter a Token Name and Expiration Days, then click Generate Token.
- Copy the token from the list.
To find your Topic ID:
- Log in to Quid.
- Click the Topics tab at the top of the screen.
- Click the name of your chosen topic — for example, #summer.
- Copy the digits at the end of the URL. That's your Topic ID.
Once you have both, navigate to the Service Connectors page in Klipfolio, choose Quid from the list, and enter your credentials to get started.

Connection options
Klipfolio gives you two ways to work with Quid data, depending on how much control you want.
Pre-built data sources
Klipfolio's pre-built Quid data sources cover the most commonly tracked metrics — impressions, top terms, and more. Select a connector from the Service Connectors page, enter your API Token and Topic ID, and the data source is ready to use. You can also switch to custom settings to modify the query URL if you need something more specific.
Custom data sources and Klips
For full control, build your own data source from scratch using the Quid API. Once your data source is set up, open the Klip Editor to combine, transform, and visualize your data using 100+ Excel-like functions. You can integrate multiple data sources into a single Klip for richer reporting.
