How to connect WordPress to Klipfolio

Klipfolio connects to WordPress via OAuth. You'll need your WordPress login credentials to authorize the connection. Once connected, Klipfolio securely accesses your WordPress account and stores the connection for reuse.

There are two ways to bring WordPress data into Klipfolio: pre-built data sources and custom-built data sources. Start with pre-built if you want to move fast.

Use pre-built WordPress data sources

1. Go to the Service Connectors page in Klipfolio and select WordPress.
2. Choose a pre-built data source from the left panel on the Choose a pre-built or custom connection page.
3. Click Connect an account, enter your WordPress credentials, and click Next. If prompted, click Allow Access, then Continue. (If you've connected before, select your existing connection from the drop-down and click Continue.)
4. Enter your WordPress Site Domain (for example, yoursite.wordpress.com) where prompted.
5. Click Get data, review the results, and click Continue.
6. Name your data source, set a refresh schedule, and click Save.

Build a custom WordPress data source

If the pre-built options don't cover the metrics you need, build your own query using the WordPress REST API.

1. Go to the Service Connectors page and select WordPress.
2. Click Create a custom WordPress data source.
3. Connect your account or select an existing connection, then click Continue.
4. On the Configure your data source page, update the Query URL. Replace any placeholder text (such as

   <yourSiteDomain>

   ) with your actual site domain.
5. Edit the Query URL to return the data you need. Refer to the WordPress API documentation for available endpoints.
6. Click Get data, review the results, and click Continue.
7. Name your data source, set a refresh schedule, and click Save.
