Note: The Klipfolio-Marketo Engage integration currently does not support email marketing data. It also does not support Excel files downloaded from Marketo Engage, as Marketo Engage uses non-standard CSV formats. Static lists must contain fewer than 30,000 leads.

How to connect Adobe Marketo Engage to Klipfolio

This integration uses the Marketo Engage integration's REST API and requires a LaunchPoint service setup. Complete these steps once, then reuse your credentials for each new data source.

  1. Set up Klipfolio as a LaunchPoint service in Marketo Engage Admin to generate your Client ID and Client Secret.
  2. Create static lists in Marketo Engage to define the lead segments you want to report on (for example: leads created today, leads from a specific campaign).
  3. Locate your REST API Identity URL and REST API Endpoint URL from the Web Services section in Marketo Engage Admin.
  4. Find the unique ID for each static list you want to pull into Klipfolio.
  5. Create a REST/URL data source in Klipfolio using your subdomain, Client ID, Client Secret, and list ID. Set your refresh rate to 15 minutes or more to stay within Marketo Engage's API limits (10,000 calls per day per Client ID).
